At tonight's SW Region fund-raising dinner at Exeter's Corn Exchange I had the honour (for a PAFC supporter!) of presenting Ed Balls with an Exeter City shirt by virtue of being the Labour and Co-operative candidate for St James in the recent(ish) city elections.
Ed, the Labour and Co-operative MP for Normanton, is Secretary of State for Children, Schools and Families and we thought it appropriate since City is itself a co-operative, being run by a Supporters Trust.
